Edward W. Powers Auditorium At DeYor PAC tickets & upcoming events

If you're hunting for a spot that seamlessly blends history, charm, and a touch of grandeur, the Edward W. Powers Auditorium at DeYor Performing Arts Center is where it’s at. This place isn’t just a pretty face; it’s a hub for everything from blockbuster movie nights and film festivals like the local film fest to unforgettable live concerts. The chandelier hanging from the ceiling? Yeah, it’s a showstopper that immediately makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a fancy movie palace. Inside, the design feels both classic and welcoming, with plush seats and a stage that’s perfect for everything from symphonies to stand-up comedy. And if you’re into the behind-the-scenes scoop, they offer guided tours that dig into the architecture and design, trust me, it’s pretty cool to see how they’ve kept the historic vibe alive while modernizing it. Oh, and accessibility? Totally on point. The ADA-compliant seating makes sure everyone can enjoy the show without a hitch. If you're planning your trip, just hop on Highway 7 heading north from the south side, follow the signs downtown, and you'll be there in no time. The staff? Super friendly and always ready to help with directions or recommendations. Whether you're craving a front-row seat to a concert or just want to soak up the atmosphere, this place is a must-visit for locals and visitors alike, and honestly, it’s a little gem in Youngstown’s cultural scene.
